Step 1: Build Aligned and Cohesive Leadership

Successful change starts at the top with the senior leadership group of a business unit or organization. You can't afford to accept anything less than a cohesive leadership group that collectively drives the process for building a Great Company. The actions of this group send a strong message to people throughout the company. Mastering authentic and sustainable leadership alignment skills are critical for developing a cohesive and effective senior group.

An off-site Leadership Alignment session is delivered for the senior group to provide them with the skills to:

• Build sustainable alignment for collaborating effectively across functions.
• Send a cohesive, positive message to the organization by using a common language and shared skills.
• Actively model how to generate high performance results.
• Mobilize people to produce rapid, long-term change.

The next step is to select other strategic groups and leaders to participate in the roll-out of Leadership Alignment sessions. Providing your key leaders with a shared set of alignment skills and a common language for mobilizing people builds a strong foundation for results.
