Dr. Malandro takes research out of the classroom and laboratory and into the boardroom. Going beyond principles, she teaches skills heretofore not known outside of Ph.D. level programs in universities. For the first time, she brings together the communication skills for building an environment in which people throughout an organization can excel.

Malandro earned her Ph.D. in Communication Theory and Research at Florida State. After professorships at Florida State and Arizona State, she graduated to corporate consulting, helping CEOs and management get their message across – and talking straight. From the bluest of the Blue Chips to a wide range of entrepreneurial ventures, Dr. Malandro’s client list is a Who’s Who of Corporate America. Malandro has taught litigation techniques and courtroom strategies at law schools. A frequent speaker for the American Bar Association, she has been active in major trials advising attorneys on jury selection, witness preparation, and successful techniques for opening and closing arguments.

Dr. Malandro’s media appearances are a lively exchange. Whether she’s analyzing the lies or half-truths politicians tell – just using their own words – or helping businesspeople become better understood, her interviews are spiced with humor, examples, and plenty of how-to advice that entertains as it helps. She’s an Equal Opportunity Analyst – taking on politicians of every stripe when they lie, obfuscate, or evade.

“Words shape reality; when you master words, you're in control. Underestimate the power of words and you’re on your way to being easily manipulated,” she says. “The most dangerous delusion is that there is only one reality. In their over-zealous rhetoric, masters of spin and self-appointed world saviors want us to believe that their reality is the only one.”

Malandro’s system goes way beyond coaching. “Leaders need to discover how they get in their own way, derailing people and organizations. We teach them the underlying principles for turning any difficult situation around. Whether it's anger running amuck, bad word habits or unconscious behavior, leaders must be armed with straight talk skills - the practical, principled approach to 'saying it right the first time or recovering quickly when you don't.'”
